RAPE
RESISTING ASSAULTS AND PROBLEMATIC ENCOUNTERS Rapes in India have been described as one of the country’s most common crimes against women and, by the UN’s human rights chief as a national problem. According to the Indian National Crime Records Bureau, every 34 minutes a woman is raped and every 26 minutes assaulted. According to a survey done by the U.S. National Institute of Justice, every 2 minutes someone is sexually assaulted and nearly 1 in 5 women say that they have been sexually assaulted in the USA. All men are not potential rapists. However, while it is impossible to predict who will, or won't, rape, abuse, molest, sexually assault, etc., you will learn in this RAPE program the various character traits that lead men to these behaviors. RAPE is not something that just suddenly occurs. What you do affects the outcome. Therefore, to avoid being sexually assaulted, learn in this program what precautionary measures you can take to prevent finding yourself in a situation where you could be raped. Study the ‘Five Stages of Violent Crime’ which is an internationally recognized system to identify if you are being set up as a target for sexual assault. Knowing the five stages is a standardized guide by which you can assess the potential threat of a situation; it is used also by police, public safety and street survival instructors all around the world. Fight or Flight Response: Learn in this RAPE program how to tell a controllable situation from an uncontrollable one. Stop the criminal from choosing you; make it harder for him to victimize you. Learn the key steps of how to respond confidently to familiar patterns of physical assault in a business environment, in the home, on the street or anywhere, utilizing some of the world's best and most effective methods. Leonard V Godinho developed and created this RAPE program in order for women to learn how to avoid, protect and defend themselves against physical abuse, domestic violence, sexual assaults, violent crimes and other problematic encounters. His personal defense and safety programs, classes and workshops for women are conducted at numerous centers of the YWCA, YMCA, BWA, DVC, women’s universities, colleges and schools. |
