CONTROL
COUNTER OFFENSIVE NEUTRALIZING TECHNIQUES REQUIRED ON LINE CONTROL is a program designed and introduced into the curriculum of Defense and Law Enforcement training by Soke Sensei Leonard V. Godinho. The CONTROL program is NOT the same as self-defense or martial arts. This program basically emphasizes on total control of the mind, body and emotions. It gives step-by- step instruction and guidance in: Threat Assessment, Force Continuum, Body Language, Verbal Techniques, Breath Control, Flexibility, and other essential elements of physical confrontations. According to the Federal Bureau of Investigation, violent crimes in America occur every seventeen seconds; a combination of CONTROL training and carrying the right tools can decrease tremendously the actual danger from a violent attack. When one can recognize and respond effectively to potentially dangerous situations, one is less likely to become a target. CONTROL acquaints participants with emerging trends in combative situations in the new millennium. It incorporates the most effective maneuvers, tactical training, hard core fighting mentality and neutralizing techniques in close range combat and life threatening situations. The program offers step-by-step breakdowns of each technique and then works those techniques into specifically designed training drills. Training in CONTROL incorporates a comprehensive and pragmatic program to equip one to defend oneself in any exigency or life-threatening situation with powerful hand-to-hand combat and weapon combination skills to subdue and neutralize the attacker. Soke Sensei Godinho develops custom-made techniques and moves for every participant taking the CONTROL program, as he realizes and seriously believes that their lives depend on the success of the techniques he has to offer them. |
